Calculator

Swiss rules as of 2026
Use your AHV statement if you have one. The official full range is CHF 1,260 to CHF 2,520 per month for a single person.
Many pension funds use rates below the legal minimum on the compulsory portion, so this should be adjusted to your fund.
2026 maximum is CHF 7,258/year for employees or CHF 36,288 for self-employed people without a 2nd pillar.
Official reference notes: Switzerland’s statutory retirement age is 65, with transitional rules for some women born between 1961 and 1964. Early retirement is possible up to two years early, usually with 6.8% reduction per year early. The 13th AHV pension is paid for the first time in December 2026.

Zurich users often search for practical tools that combine official Swiss pension rules with a simple planning result. This page does that, while staying editable: you can later add tax handling, spouse calculations, early-retirement scenarios, or a canton selector for Zurich and other Swiss cantons.
